Private Label Lip Scrub: buyer FAQ
Product-specific starting points for the first brief. Final answers depend on the selected formula, pack and destination market.
Which exfoliant is used in lip scrub?
Fine sugar is most common because it dissolves and feels gentle on lips. Jojoba beads or very fine plant powders are alternatives.
Will the sugar dissolve in the jar?
Not if the base is water-free. We use oils and butters so the sugar stays crystalline until use.
Can a lip scrub be vegan?
Yes. Beeswax is replaced with plant waxes and all flavours and colours are checked for animal-derived ingredients.
Stick or jar?
A jar holds more particles and feels more indulgent. A stick is cleaner to use and suits handbags but gives a milder scrub.
Can I make several flavours?
Yes. One base can carry several flavours and colours; MOQ is confirmed per flavour.
What should the label say?
Directions to rub gently and wipe off, the full ingredient list, and flavour allergens where your market requires them.
Continue within the same manufacturing cluster.
